These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CampusBound mobile application ("App") operated by SudoBuiltApps, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
If you are under 18 years of age, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf. By allowing a minor to use the App, the parent or guardian agrees to these Terms.
The App is intended for use by individuals aged 13 and older. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly.
Users between the ages of 13 and 17 ("Minor Users") must have parental or guardian consent to use the App. Adult Supporter accounts linked to a Minor User account acknowledge that they are the parent, legal guardian, or other trusted adult of the student.
The App is available to residents of the United States only. By using the App, you represent that you are a resident of the United States.
You may create an account using Sign in with Apple or an email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at hello@getcampusbound.app of any unauthorized use of your account.
The App supports three account roles: Student, Adult Supporter, and Counselor. Students are the primary account holders and own all data associated with their account. Adult Supporters and Counselors access student data only with the explicit permission of the Student, granted through the App's invitation system.
You may delete your account at any time through the App's Settings. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days, subject to any legal retention requirements. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
The App offers the following in-app purchases through Apple's App Store:
All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. SudoBuiltApps, LLC does not process refunds directly.
We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Price changes will be communicated in advance and will not affect purchases already made.
CampusBound participates in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for apps to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites. When you use the Dorm Wishlist feature and purchase items through the generated links, SudoBuiltApps, LLC may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.
This affiliate relationship does not influence the items included in your packing list or the order in which they are presented. All commissions earned support the continued development and maintenance of the App.
We may add additional affiliate partnerships in the future. All such relationships will be disclosed in this section and within the relevant App features.
The App offers optional AI-powered features that require a separate in-app purchase, including: AI Essay Coach, AI Financial Aid Pack, and AI Scholarship Match. These features are powered by third-party artificial intelligence technology.

CampusBound provides scholarship information as a convenience to users. This information is gathered from publicly available sources and is subject to change without notice.
SudoBuiltApps, LLC makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of scholarship information displayed in the App. SudoBuiltApps, LLC is not responsible for:
Each scholarship listing includes a direct link to the official scholarship organization. Users are responsible for verifying all scholarship details before applying.
The App allows you to create, store, and share content including task notes, essay drafts, award wallet entries, and messages ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content.
By submitting User Content through AI features, you grant SudoBuiltApps, LLC and its AI service providers a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the requested AI service. This license terminates when you delete your account or the relevant content.
You represent that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights and privacy rights. You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, offensive, or harmful.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SudoBuiltApps, LLC and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
The CampusBound name, logo (the "C" with graduation cap design), and all associated branding are trademarks of SudoBuiltApps, LLC. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SudoBuiltApps, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
The App integrates with and links to third-party services including:
These third-party services have their own terms of service and privacy policies. SudoBuiltApps, LLC is not responsible for the practices of these third parties. By using features that integrate with these services, you agree to their respective terms.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in New York in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's Consumer Arbitration Rules.
You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
